About

Beyond sport

I love cycling because it's teaching me so much about life: it helps me grow and face even the most difficult days with positivity. I care deeply about this sport, and through my journey, I want to share at least a part of the beauty and magic this experience can offer.

UCI Gravel Athlete

Start in cycling

Cycling has been a part of my life since I was 11, when I started training at a club. Since then, this passion has never left me; in fact, it has grown with me. I competed in my first races in the U15 category, mainly racing cross-country mountain bikes between Ticino and central Switzerland.

U17 and Junior Category

Moving up to the U17 category brought me my first real successes: I competed in Switzerland and Italy, taking second place in the Swiss Cup, participating in my first European Youth Championships, and finishing fourth at the U17 Swiss Championships.
In the Junior category, I joined the national team, competing in the Junior Series, the Youth World Cup. I began competing throughout Europe, enjoying unforgettable experiences, including the Junior Series in Nové Město.

Move to the U23 and injury

The transition to the U23 category was more challenging. After my first year, during which I earned the UCI points needed to enter the World Cup, I qualified for the Lenzerheide race. Shortly beforehand, however, a serious injury—a torn cruciate ligament—kept me out of competition for almost two years.
Upon my return, I resumed competing in the MTB Marathon discipline, achieving some results, including 5th place in the 4Islands Epic Series, a UCI pairs and stage race.

Discovery of Gravel

In 2025, my final year in the U23 category, I discovered gravel, participating in the discipline's most important competitions, such as the UCI World Series and the Earth Series. I immediately fell in love with the sport, competing in the European Championships and my first World Championships. Today, I feel strongly motivated to fully explore my potential for improvement in this fascinating discipline.

Coach and lead

Alongside my competitive activity, I enjoy working with children and instilling in them a passion for cycling: for this reason, I occasionally coach the children of the Capriasca Velo Club. In 2025, I also took and passed the Swiss Cycling Guide entrance exam; given my positive outcome, I'd like to continue my training in this field.
Sport has taught me perseverance, discipline, and the desire to always give my best. It has taught me that results aren't just the result of luck or bad luck, but of dedication, conviction, and daily work.
